Mentees (Being Mentored)

Mentor details

You can now browse the mentor profiles here. At the conference, you can find out when each mentor is available and sign up for a slot with them at the Making an Impact registration desk in the level 2 exhibition area of the TIC.

Helping you to succeed

We are setting up the opportunity for you to have a short, one-off mentoring session at the EURO2015 conference. This isn’t designed to help you with specific technical problems. It is focussed on broader issues you might be facing in your practice, career or development.

Although this is a bit different to a long term mentoring partnership, it still has several benefits:
• Gain valuable advice - Your mentor’s experiences could shed a whole new light on your problem!
• Develop your knowledge and skills - They could help you identify the skills and expertise you need to succeed. They might advise you on where to go for the information you need.
• See new perspectives - At the conference you could speak to someone you’d never normally meet in your day to day work.
• Build your network - Maybe you’ll keep in touch after your session!

Getting the most from your session

We've shared details of everyone who has volunteered to be a mentor at the conference. On this page, you can find out more about languages they can mentor in, their experiences and what they can help with.
