Arrivals Procedure
Delegates will be required to make their own way on their arrival in to Glasgow to their accommodation.
Delegates can register for the conference at the times detailed below; the registration desk will be located in the main reception of the TIC building.
Sunday 12 July 14:00 – 20:30
Monday 13 July 07:30 – 18:00
Tuesday 14 July 07:30 – 18:00
Wednesday 15 July 07:30 – 17:30

Badges
Delegate name badges must be worn and be clearly visible at all times when attending the conference and exhibition.

Food & Beverage
Tea & Coffee: Refreshments are included in the registration fee and will be served in the exhibition area as well as throughout the campus, for the duration of the Conference. Times to be advised on confirmation of final programme.
Lunches: Lunches are included in the registration fee and a variety of food and beverage options will be served in the exhibition area as well as throughout the campus during lunch breaks. Times to be advised on confirmation of final programme.
Mobile Phones
Delegates are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones on silent in the rooms where scientific plenary and educational sessions are being held.
Smoking Policy
Under Scots law, smoking is illegal in most indoor places other than private homes. This includes restaurants, bars, hotels (except for designated smokers rooms).
Drink Drive Policy
Please be aware that Scots law is now much tighter than English law when it comes to drink driving, and it is recommended not to drink any alcohol prior to driving a vehicle.
Weather
The Conference will take place in July. The weather in Glasgow is mild - warm and pleasant during the summer months however as you will know, the UK is subject to changeable weather so you are advised to bring some warm and waterproof clothing.
Cash Machine
A cash machine is located a few minutes walk from the TIC Building on the corner of George Street and Montrose Street.
Convenience Stores and Chemist
The TIC Building is located in Glasgow’s city centre. There are a number of convenience stores within a minute’s walking distance and the nearest chemist is located on High Street see map.
Tourist Information
The closest tourist information centre can be found on Buchanan Street, a 5/7 minute walk from the TIC Building see map.
